The greeting-management toolkit is its killer feature. SillyTavern and most frontends let you add alternate greetings but offer no way to reorder them or promote an alternate to primary without manual copy-paste. zer0thgear solves this with drag-to-reorder and one-click swap operations, saving significant time when fine-tuning a character’s first impression.

Text sanitization is another practical win. Cards imported from certain platforms or Discord often carry formatting artifacts — double asterisks, inconsistent whitespace, or truncation markers. zer0thgear’s strip-asterisks and whitespace-normalization functions clean these in seconds, restoring readability without touching the underlying meaning.

Unlike editors that bury lorebook inside the character form, zer0thgear offers a dedicated lorebook panel where entries can be created, edited, sorted, and exported independently.
