LoreVault is a hosted memory-as-a-service extension: automatic summarization, semantic retrieval, character state and relationship tracking, and POV filtering, with near-zero configuration.

Install the extension and it begins watching your conversation in the background, automatically detecting important developments, generating summaries, and storing them in LoreVault’s cloud-hosted vector store. When you send a new message, semantic retrieval finds the most relevant past memories — even through fuzzy associations that keyword matching would miss — and injects them into the AI’s context.

Beyond raw memory, LoreVault maintains a character state panel tracking each figure’s current mood, location, health, and inventory, plus a relationship graph that evolves as alliances shift and secrets unfold. In group-RP scenarios, POV filtering ensures each character only knows what they should know, preventing immersion-breaking leaks of private conversations.

The trade-off for this convenience is cloud dependency: your conversation data is processed and stored on LoreVault’s servers, making the extension unsuitable for users with strict privacy requirements.
